MSRP Squad Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information MSRP Squad, operated by Bryan Sullivan (a sole proprietor doing business as MSRP Squad, San Diego, California) ("we"), collects and how we use it.
What we collect
- From Whop (our checkout and membership provider): your name or username, email address, membership status, plan, purchase history and the Discord account you link. We never see your full card details; Whop and its payment processors handle payments.
- From Discord: your Discord username and ID, roles, and messages you post in our server, under Discord's own privacy policy.
- When you contact us: your email address and what you send us.
- On msrpsquad.com: we don't currently use analytics, cookies for tracking, or advertising trackers on the site. If we add privacy-friendly, aggregate visit statistics (pages viewed, referrer, device type) in the future, we'll update this policy first.
- Onboarding answers in Discord (e.g. which pings you want, rough US region) to tailor alerts and understand our audience in aggregate.
How we use it
To provide and secure the Service; grant and remove access to the right channels; deliver alerts; provide support, refunds and service announcements; enforce our rules; and understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used so we can improve it.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don't send marketing email unless you've opted in.
Who we share it with
Only service providers needed to run the Service: Whop (payments and memberships), Discord (community and alerts), our email provider, and hosting providers. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or users' safety.
Retention
We keep membership and support records while you're a member and for up to 2 years afterward for dispute purposes (and longer only where tax or accounting law requires it), then delete or anonymize them. Discord messages remain under Discord's control and our server's moderation settings.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing support@msrpsquad.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights; we won't discriminate against you for using them. You can leave the Discord server and cancel your membership at any time.
Children
The Service isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. Members under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission.
